Sigma x2 teleconverter rattles

Hi,
I have just bought a 2nd hand x2 TC from ebay and it has arrived and has a a rattle, I have seen the post about th x1.4 rattling one and wanted to ask if anyone has a x2 canon fit and can say if it has a rattle for them.

Had one that did the same and I just rotated one side (like tightening a bottle cap) until it screwed back in and became stable again.
Failing that look for any small screws that you can tighten.

Thanks for the reply, not sure what you mean by 'rotating one side', this one rattles before fitting to the lens and body!!

I could screw mine as it is made of 2 parts, hold each side with one hand and try to tighten it. Not sure how else to explain! Might not work if yours is a different model but worth a try
 
If both caps are fitted mine has a light rattle, remove the lens side cap and it doesn't, deduced that it's the lens release button, as holding it with both caps attached the rattle stops. So nothing to worry about. :)
 
Cheers for the replies, I think it isnt right so am trying to get hold of the seller, though he said yesterday that his friend has one too and that rattles and he believes it to be the norm and how they should be!!
