For the last few years my go to lens has been Tamron24-70mm f2,8 sp vc on ad7000, an accident ripped off the lens mount. The insurers are going to pay me £700.
I love the tamron( may be a bit over kill on a crop) but instead of replacing it I could get a sigma-17-70mm-f28-4-dc-macro-os-hsm and upgrade my 55-200 with a 70 300 or a Nikon AF 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED, One Touch sh.
Plus for the sigma wider at 17mm and cheaper
Minus ½ a stop at 70mm
However I have no Esperance of the sigma and would be grateful for any feed back from anyone who has
