yup, some people take it a step further by creating an action to resize the photos and then add in the sig with 1 click to save time and to standardize all the pictures.
 
Personally, I wouldn't actually sign the prints themselves. I sign and date the matte in pencil.
 
Do you mean like watermarks for online pictures? Just use the Type tool in photoshop, type out your name or copyright message then press enter and adjust the opacity of the text layer to make it transparent :) (if you press alt+0169 you can make a © symbol :) )
 
Hi,got some software called watermark online for£10 works well and you can resize with it and convert to different formats.
