Hi,

Needing a tad bit of advice please, I am going to Malta in a few weeks time and was wondering weather I would be able to charge my canon battery, using the adapter they supplied with the camera without fusing the whole hotel! (I have visions of doing a Mr Bean in Harrods and plunging the whole place into darkness!)

Yes.

If you look on the back of the charger you'll see it's rated 50-60Hz 110-240V (or similar).
It'll work anywhere in the world

Providing you remember to take the mains plug adaptor.

That's correct you'll need a 2 round pin Type C (shuco) adapter.

I'm a technical producer so I have to deal with electricity and plug sockets worldwide.

Thanks for your advice, your advice also answered another question I had, that it would my nebuliser work in Malta, the answer is to that is yes as well!
