I'm at the British GP for 3 days :)
These are some photos from the Friday practice session.

My view from Stowe Corner - Grandstand B.
I can see the cars from the top of Hanger Straight, through Stowe and up to Vale and Club. (out of shot).

Great shots! guess those shots above arent from that position though?
 
There was a crane just about where you took that shot of your view from Stowe. So that was you 40 feet up in the air!

No they aren't :)
Photo opportunities for spectators is very difficult at best. Unless you have media access you’re shooting through a fence from behind another barrier 6ft away. The Hamilton photo was taken through a fence but the Button shot wasn’t, both were taken at club corner.
 
Looks like you are going to get a good view from where you are mate. Im just slightly jealous you are going and im not!!

Like the shot of lewis though, lovely and sharp. Any info on the exif for that shot as it seems to have been stripped from the image.
 
Rather annoyingly CS3 strips the EXIF even when you use 'Save As' :shrug:

Thanks. What i like and found out when i went to the testing is that even at those shutter speeds you still get wheel blurr!! :D

Pardon, no it dont, as thats what i do ,you will see all my exif are in tact.

Some nice pics, need the binoclours though at silverstone, being an F1 standard your miles away from any real action.

Not here Peter, "Save As" still has the exif details on my PC..:p


Cracking shots as usual..:)
