Similar lens to this one?

Hey everyone

I'm a youtuber and i love photography as a hobby i have the canon 600d with the 50mm 1.8 lens and the 18-55mm kit lens.

I have recently been watching some youtube videos and reading some blogs where a girl uses the Tamron 24-70mm lens and her videos look stunning.
I use the same lighting as she does so i know it isn't that i'm pretty sure its the lens.

But im a student and £700 on a lens would kill me! I could save up for it but im looking at saving for a good 9 months as im going to new york too!
I know another lens wont be exactly the same...but is there one similar to this which would give off the same film and quality as this lens?

No reason why your 50mm couldn't get results like that. Its more down to the position of lighting, distance of the background and ambient lighting, and also the camera settings.
What shutter speed/aperture/iso settings are you using?

Ive tried the 50mm but then its too cropped and im very close to the camera so ive had to use my 18-55mm lens but when i use my 50mm ill use a 400iso 1/40 shutter if i remember rightly and then i use an appeture of 3.5 so my face will focous!
