simple portraits of my wife

I was testing a couple of setups and playing conversions.

I really like the 2nd one.
I cannot decide if its a shame that you just clipped off the top of her head....I would have to see a comparison.
But I like the conversion too.

Your wife is so photogenic. I'm very jealous. Lovely images. I particularly like 1 and 2 with 2 having the edge for me it has great lighting and her expression and pose are lovely

thanks, agree about the hands but a tighter crop didnt look right.

lighting was large softbox left reflector right and barndoors rear left(all from camera point of view)

i really like the second one of the first batch,
i cant make my mind up about the colour or black+ white, the black and white is excellent looks just great, but then so does the colour, :shrug:

I like the first one best then the second. Im not keen on the last one you posted. The first kind of looks like a wedding shot while shes getting ready.

i like the colour shot in the 1st set although i would have liked a little more room for your wife to have looked into.

the 3rd in the 1st set looks flat to me.. " shame"

the 2nd set are both nice in there own ways.. " and more room to look into..."

From the fist set I like No.2 from your second set again it No.2 although both shots are great, works really well in both, just still really enjoy b+w
