Single lens solution

Could anybody help please, I have a budget of about £200 ideally a bit less but could stretch a bit higher if I need too. I want a lens that will cover me for most situations from close up to landscape to portrait and maybe a little further out. Sp is there such a thing as a single solution lens on a tight budget??

Well the nikon 18-200mm is a very good lens for sure.

For that money there is no way you could exclude the Nikon 18-200mm.

The only thing it's no good for is low light moving subjects.

Stupidly good lens...

I don't think so. It's an unbelievably good lens though - anyone that isn't amazed at it is off their head
