Hi and welcome to TP.

I like the shot but wonder whether a wider crop would have been better. I know it's a shot of the loco but what really grabs my eye are the two people to the right, I keep looking at them wondering what they are doing and wanting to see the story there. With the train as an additional prop to set the 40's scene.

Is it from the 'Railway in Wartime' event ?

You are correct it is from the war weekend It is one of the shots that didnt fit the criteria for our web site
There is no more of it (slight crop from left and bottom) but no room for me to go backwards to encompass more (don't use a zoom use legs)
The jivers are a distraction but I aren't that good with p/shop to terminate them
The line at the bottom of the pic says it all
