I'm new here and have been posting images as BBCode from Flickr. I notice that if I use Flickr's larger image sizes that the forum often doesn't display them. Playing around, it seems that 1600 wide images mostly display, but sometimes they don't and I need to scale back to 1024. Can anyone explain what the limitation is? Is it the size in bytes of the embedded JPEG?

1024px on the longest side.
If you try and post ( from flickr) multiple images over 1Mb in the same thread, many or all will not show.
So in answer its a correlation between Px & Kb.
Attachments, 1024px on the longest side, and less than 500kb per image, per thread.
