[Dark Star]

I don't normally venture into this forum but I thought these might be worth posting. This is SkaFinger... a six piece playing Ska sounds

Our first gig is on 15th in central Birmingham - here are some shots I've taken during rehearsals over the last few months...

Oh and I'm also on guitar - none of me though

1) Pete, Trombone

2) Dave, Trumpet

3) Si, Guitar

4) Steve, Drums

5) Mark, Bass and Vocals

Your first ever gig on 15th, or did you play the Bridge Rats rally this year?
There was a smokin' hot 3rd wave/ska band playing on the Sat night.
I'm afraid I was rather inebriated at the time though... :nuts:

Wasn't us Steve We've yet to get out of the studio

We have a couple pubs around Redditch we hope to get slots in in Jan though

Is the first image not showing because of the dot instead of a slash before the last img tag?

My overall favourite is the trumpet shot. SO clear and sharp and a great mono conversion, well done John.

Love the Ska look in the last one!!

This is the first image with corrected tags.

Not keen on the guitar close up, too much grain for my tastes. All the other are good

Mark, the ska hatted bassist slipped on the ice last night and now can't use his arm! This could scupper the gig

Thanks for that Chris, yep that one was without flash at quite a high ISO if I recall I too prefer the sharp one

If you are looking to do any gigs in London in the future give me a shout - I have a mate who puts on ska/mod nights in and around Camden.
