First the facts.
1) I'm going to Snowbombing in Austria in April (ski/music festival)
2) I've only ski'ed once before... I don't fall over too much on two planks...but I'll probably be boarding (and on my arse)
3) I want to take pictures
Now the questions....
I would like to take the 5D....but I'm not really sure of the practicalities of it. I don't want to break it or myself if (when) I fall over.
Is there a practical way of carrying an SLR on the slopes? Some kind of toughened rucksack? I'm not *overly* precious about the camera, don't mind taking some risks with it, worth nothing if it's not used after all! But I don't want to take it out if the likelihood is that it'll end up in bits (or embedded in my spine).
Or... do I resign myself to not taking it, and just take my trusty Nikon EM and a Lomo fisheye for some fun shots?
