If you search "brendan barry photographer" on youtube there is a lot of his stuff there. I'm probably (probably! exclaim the family 
) being an old curmudgeon but I have very mixed feelings about his rhetoric. He says he "makes cameras" out of "interesting things" but in reality he replaces the camera body with various found items. The rest of it is just standard camera components, lenses, backs, shutters, etc. I suppose it is good in a way that he is generating some interest around a back-to-basics approach to photography and some of his photos are good, whatever the equipment.

Gregory is one of my favourites, nothing wrong with spending some money if it gets his kind of result IMHO
I think I've seen that before and good on 'em, I'd like to see the final image. Anyway it's underground so it's gotta be good ;-)
