Slide Scanner Help

Hi All,

My mum has asked me to look into slide scanners to convert my Grandads slides with. Now I havn't got a clue really but have found this one:

Is there anyone who knows if this is a good buy or can recommend a better option?

As long as his slides are all 35mm the v300 should the job well. If he has any medium format slides or negs you want to scan then you'll have to move up to a v600.
