slideshow on the homepage

HI, I need to change my home page on my website what I would really like is a slideshow but not flash!!! can anyone recommend some code for it?

Thanks Folks, finally got round to working on it this morning and took Gary's offer now that I have that done I think a full revamp due again :-(
