Am considering this bag. Needs to fit my 430 flash as well as 500d with kit lens attached and 55-250 lens in the camera compartment. Any idea if the flash will fit? looked at lots of info online but its not clear. The flash is quite big but do not want to put it in top pocket

I think you will be ok, but let me show you some pics just taken (badly on a phone lol) of my 500D with Opteka Grip & manfrotto plate and kit lens on the camera, a 55-250 with hood on backwards in the right hand divider and a 580exII inverted and in the left divider.
