What I would like probably does not exist, so I will have to make do with the most features I can get. Ideally I want a small camera with around 16 times zoom. It must have manual facility, I would like raw as well as jpeg, this is the harder part, I would like a viewfinder, presumably electronic & I imagine that is the sticking point for a while. While on this subject I have noticed you can get attachments ( like a magnifying piece) that you put on the back of the camera over the LCD & can use the LCD as a viewfinder, any links to these? I also guess the sensor will be the small ones. Do they do bigger ones with built in zooms on small cameras? I know you get most of these facilities with the Panasonic G3 but then you have to have big lenses (I already have a DSLR). So small camera, around 16 times zoom & raw. Can you recommend a good one?
 
Might want to look at the Nikon 7100, not 16X but it fits all the rest, the zoom on this one is 28-200mm.
 
The Ricoh GXR with the P10 module? 28-300mm I think. Optional EVF available for it too that can be angled. Foto Konijnenberg has good price on it, in Europe too so no import tax hassle.
