Small waterfall in the Trough of Bowland

Went for a walk through the Trough of Bowland yesterday, while the sun was out It makes such a difference to a day

Anyway, here is one of the scenes that I shot. This image wouldn't have been possible without a certain love-it-or-hate-it post-processing technique

I'd love to hear your comments and criticisms, about anything.

I like the rays of light there even though they act as a curtain making it hard to see deeper into the scene. Exposure's spot on but I'd cut maybe 1.5 cm off the bottom of the shot, there's a bit too much foreground rock I think.

Despite being someone who seems to spend most of their time shooting directly into the sun I normally hate lens flare. This shot, however, I like loads!

Agree about losing a small amount of foreground though.

Fantastic! I love to see shots that break the rules who says you can't shoot into the sun?

Lovely shot, I'm surprised you didn't get big round sun flares on your lens.

Yep, just once in a while, shooting into the sun works, is this is one of those occasions

I did get three small round intense green blobs in the shaft of light which points towards the central rock, but I removed these as they were a bit distracting. I think the resizing has hidden some of the other, less obvious, flare too :shrug:
