Smoke - First Go

Hello Everyone.

Tonight i got around to having my first go at smoke photography.

So here are my first efforts.

A good first attempt there Mike but they all look a little on the soft side I love the shapes and colours and the backgrounds look nice and clean and to me that's half the battle won just to work a little on the focus

I will have another go at some point, is it best to keep it on auto focus or set a manual focus point.

As for these shots I used a ruler in the smoke to get a focus point and then switched to manual focus so it didn’t re-focus
