I just received my Smooth Q 3D gimbal. I am very impressed, especially as it was only £130. Build quality is excellent, and it works very nicely with my iPhone SE. It's like it is an alive, sentient machine! Spooky. Alignment is easy. Motion is fluid and smooth. It has pan following and pan/tilt, and you can control the orientation of the head from the joystick on the handle. Excellent.
The Zhiyun app is quite nice allowing you to control the phone from the gimbal, but I'm using a dedicated video app instead. The Zhiyun app lets you control recording start and stop, plus zoom. I can start and stop recording from the phone screen itself and wont be using in-phone zoom, so no need to use the Zhiyun app really.
I'm looking forward to doing some cool and whacky stuff with it. It's certainly a little tech marvel.
