I am currently doing the same , The images are nice and sharp with good detail but they appear to have a colour cast on my monitor

Nice shots Alby. Prefer the edited versions too. If you shot these in RAW and process them in ACR, a bit of Fill will help to lighten up the shadow/dark parts.
