All shot through glass at Twycross zoo, with the sun in my eyes.
(Best excuse I've had in a long time :D)

Magnificent animals and you've caught some cracking poses. I particularly like the first water shot.

I'm only viewing on an iPad but (with the exception of the last) they look a bit over sharpened ?

Great set - I really like the second to last but they all work great as a sequence.

Yep great set really like them all but the last portrait is stunning

Nice set there fella (y)
Were these taken from inside the food hall, or after entering the zoo?

Thanks Phil :)
And looking at them again I see what you mean, I really need to change these glasses ;)
They are quite heavilly processed to negate the filthy glass and the glare of the sun on that glass.
Thanks for taking the time to comment its appreciated (y)

Much appreciated (y)
And yes from the food hall, the glass was filthy and the sun burning brightly.... nightmare :(

Well I suppose that works, you need all the help you can get with your excuses :p
Poor little cub in the 5th that's gotta hurt

Not bad I suppose but a change to Nikon might help (y)

Great set of shots, especially if through glass and into the sun. Cracking details.
Think number 2 is my favourite - great reflection as well.

I'm always up for a challenge
but the sounds like a severe handicap to me :p
Thanks for dropping by Ingrid :)

Well yes it would be, you do need a certain degree of intelligence to hadle a Nikon :p

Beautiful animals, well captured. Think I would've croppes #2 more to show off that lovely reflection!

I guess I could take an inch or so off the side, to put the subject more on a third,
but I quite like it central in this TBH :)

You also need a certain degree of intelligence to know how to spell.
Some great shots there Cobra.

I think the Cats are lost in the BG (sorry) - I'm thinking it a camouflage thing, all except the last shot, which is splendid the colour of those eyes is amazing a wonderful portrait of a magnificent animal

well shot

Les ;)

No need to apologise Les,
I tend to agree with the lost in space background comment.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by (y)

top set chris love the last one and the narrative is always a bonus (y)

Nice set Chris. The last one is my favorite but they are all good. That look in #4 looks like our two wildcats (tabbys) playing!

I trust you are (all) well?
As for the cats, yes there is a look of "feline" about them isn't there?
:D
