Noah, you actually need to give more exposure for snow shots as the luminence and glare from all that snow fools the meter into thinking conditions are brighter than they are - resulting in under-exposure.
Also consider taking a custom white balance shot of the snow itself to avoid any blue casts.
You might need to give as much as 1 to 1.5 stops more exposure, but do some test shots first and check your histogram. If you shoot in RAW then you don't need to worry about the white balance.
