my mate alastair (alastairb from here) is trapped in snowdonia

got any good locations for shooting in the daytime up there with minimal driving?
 
If you want easy access/minimum effort then a nice shot of Snowdon can be had from Llynnau Mymbyr, near Capel Curig.

Behind Ogwen rangers station is easy enough and plenty to shoot

If he fancies some coastal scenery Anglesey is stunning in places - Penmon, Llanddwyn Island, South Stack
