Looks to be a good start but just some comments that I feel may improve things. It can be difficult, although not impossible to get a good shot of someone with very dark glasses on as there is no connection with the eyes.

Mike looks like he would have very interesting eyes, Jody is not wearing glasses but the harsh lighting is effectively giving a pair of dark glasses as again the eyes cant be seen.

I would look at less harsh sunlight and/or some fill flash. The backgrounds don’t give enough context to add some information about that person nor are they suitably defocused enough to make it just about the person.
