Yes
About 9 miles north of Bristol, there is the little village of Chipping Sodbury. Where once a year a special sort of lunacy happens. Approximately a 1000 normally sane individuals (my wife included) descend on the place to do a spot of running. Not cross country, but through country, ALL of it.
It had been raining, since errrr... forever. So most of the streams and rivers were flooded. Even the fields were under a couple of inches of water.

So on with the photos.

This bloke was 5mins ahead of the rest, he won.

C&C Welcome

Hey, I spent most of my school years living in chipping sodbury! :)

Never came across this lunacy... though i remember plenty of school cross country runs freezing my arse off in similar looking fields!

Love the way you've caught the water in these shots! :)

Despite the inclement weather you have managed to capture the spirit of the occasion very well:clap: My fav is the cowboy shot-mainly for the contrast between his expression and that of his "horse":D:D

Brilliant! Fancy not including a picture of the wife doing the race!!!

Love it! If I wasn't so overweight, under fit and lacking in motivation I'd love to to do something like this. Guess I'll have to stick with taking photo's though..... :bonk:
