Soft Nikon 24mm?

Hi All

Just a quick question

I have recently purchased a Nikon 24mm f2.8 to use on my D3 and after about six weeks the lens no longer seems to be as sharp as it was when i bought it.

Could a dirty sensor be to blame??

Would have to be a really dirty sensor to affect image sharpness, so I'd rule that out.
Have you put any filters on the lens? Are the front and rear lens elements clean? Have you dropped or knocked the lens?

Not a dirty sensor. Could be focus error, camera shake, subject movement, diffraction - all possible causes. Post a pic with camera settings. Unless you've dropped it.
