Software for recovering corrupt sd card files ?

Hi,

Please can anyone recommend some free software to recover corrupt jpgs on a SD card ?

Tried PC Inspector file recovery but returned the files in an unreadable format. On the card the corrupt files are showing as folders with hieroglyphics as file names

Thankfully they are not vital images but still ones i'd like to try and recover if possible.

if they where deleted , or the card has been formated . without reusing the card you stand a good chance you can recover the files. but if they are crupt you may have lost them , I hope that is not the case
