Software that comes with new cameras

Do you guys delete the old software that you had installed when you buy a new camera? I have software still on my laptop that i got with my 450d and now that i have a 50d i am unsure whether to delete this and upload the new software. Any advice appreciated.

Definitely, to take advantage of bugfixes and new features.

Also, Canon change the format of their RAW files with new camera models. I had to upgrade to Photoshop CS4 to be able to open files from my 5D mk II.
