hello all. a little while back i took my son to get some photos taken by PIXIFOTO who where at our local mothercare shop. when they took the photos of him they had some sort of computer software programme that instantly and automaticaly displayed the photo on screen so that my partner and i could see.

does anyone here know what software this is? as i wish to purchase something like it.
 
It sounds like tethered shooting where the image is zapped straight to the pc in question, rather than having to be downloaded from the camera after the shoot.

I know this can be done with nikons and canons but i'm really not sure on the sonys.

Maybe the instructions with the camera will mention something. search for "tethered".
 
thanks a lot crow. i just googled it and it seems it cant be done directly to a pc or laptop but it can be done to a tv screen.
 
ssame thing krypto, a computer can be set to display straight away. if i remember correctly, they got medium /large format cameras so not sure what software.

using the canon tethered program i can take pic and it appears straight on screen. just plug comp into tv and it will be displayed
