solo tree

For me there is way too much sky and the tree is central (left and right). Just doesn't work IMHO.

I agree with the tree being too central but I think this might do well with a b+w conversion with the blue channel right down to blacken the sky and lots of contrast in the clouds.
 
I like it and have no problem with the tree being in the middle, but for me the fence posts are a bit distracting and take away from the simplicity of the composition. If it were my picture I'd look to clone them out, but that depends on your views on cloning :)
 
I've actually no problem with the tree being central here, but I agree there's too much sky and the tree's not big enough in the frame.
 
Central position doenst bother me.....perhaps a mono wide shot may have improved the overall look?
 
I like this. But I'd like to see it in a moody B&W conversion?
