Although I realise this is a software issue, I'm posting it on the equipment page as it affects tethered shooting.
I use Mac os Lion on a Macbook Pro.
There has been a connecting issue with some people, myself included, when trying to tether a 1 Dx and a 7D with EOS utility since the last Mac OS update a few weeks ago.
Canon have just released a software update to address this problem, and there is also an update to DPP, both released yesterday.
They are available on the Canon Europe website, if you go to the 1Dx software downloads you'll get both.
You are looking for DPP....3.12.41.0 and EOS utility 2.12.0.0
