I've been trying to decide what body and lens at first i decided to get a 550d and siggy 50-500 went onto digitalrev's site to by and the voucher code didn't work! or may be i didn't put the letters in capitals anyway i got the code right, then my card transaction wouldn't go through!!:razz:
so i left it and had a bit more time to think and to bore people on here with my tedious Q's and came to the decision that i didn't want the 550d or the 50-500 at all what i wanted was a 60d and 150-500! so got directed to panamoz.com from here and found they were way cheaper!
So tonight when i go to purchase these items they haven't sent me the voucher code for 10 quid off and they said it would be £9.99 for postage as the only additional charge i would incur and there trying to charge me £19.98!!
Looks like i'm gonna have to wait a bit longer!!:bonk:

Ok Mj. If you can stop for one minute you have driven me around in circles looking at your threads I am not sure what you have got now, what you are wanting or what you have bought or sold :shrug: But if you have the 450D then imo keep it for now, get a decent lens you can afford and then go out and take some shots. I believe you wanted to do more bird photography, in that case once you have been out and taken some shots then go out and take some more and then some more Study your subjects and get to know their habits and behaviour patterns. Practice getting in as close as you can to your subjects. Once you can see a real improvement with your shots and you have explored every setting and combination of different settings with your camera to get the best from it, then that imo is the time to upgrade if you still see the need to. Just my opinion
