Some B&W portraits

okay, this is not the real scan, i couldnt do it at home, because i developed the negative, and then i scaned it by taking the photo of a film and then inverted it in photoshop, thats why its such a weird look, but its enough for you to see the photo

That last one is really quite good I could see that being a book cover but the others are not really doing anything for me :shrug:

The last one is the best of the set, looks like it could have been shot in the tunnels in Vietnam the grain, the lighting, the atmosphere, it all works really well in this

thanks, yeah, the last one is the only one i was making a print of, but i dont know, other ones i like because they kinda fit together, and the composition, like, the third one, i like the tattoo, think positive, and he is a soldier, and a piercing i like them because of atmosphere too

I actually like the weird look to them, must try 'scanning' like that at some point. Did you use a macro lens with the film on a lightbox?
The last 3 are great. Really nice light. They look like proper war photographs from the Capa days!
