Wow, that's dedication!

I've owned 35mm systems from Pentax, Nikon, Olympus, Contax, Leica R and Nikon again but never Canon. Not sure why, it just never happened. Maybe one day, I always fancied an F1 even though it weighs a ton.

I've picked up most of it quite cheap - I've rarely spent more than £50 on any single item and often a lot less.

The 35 f/2 SSC was the single-most costly of the lot at £130, but that's still well less than they go for. I found a shop selling the 17mm f/4 in nice nick for £99 and snapped it up (been rather surprised how much they do go for lately).

I'm still on the look-out for a nice, sub-£50 20mm f/2.8 or 300mm f/4 :)
