I'm having difficulty embedding the pictures in the thread directly from the gallery space, and the ones hosted on my own webspace are too big :doh:

Over the moon with it and had my 50mm f1.8 II delivered today. Trouble is, just turned on the camera and i'm getting a 'err cf' message, then when I try and format the card i get 'Err 99'

A quick google search shows this as fairly common :banghead:

You'll love the 50mm lens Steve. Try natural light portraits indoors .....looking forward to seeing the results

I did hit the bars but at the wrong times methinks

Turn off -Take card out. Take battery out and then count 5 and replace. Replace card and turn on. Check if images are on card. Then try to format.

Mine did it once but since routinely re-format cards no problem as it used to be with a previous olympus. Good luck.
