Some portrait attempts - please advise

I would love some cc on how I could improve on these shots, so next time I will have a better idea.

I'm not big on portraits but the thing I see in nearly all the images is a stray hair or two...a little more preparation time would pay dividends I think...sorry.

Hi zarozinia, not really keen one the first 3 being in landscape. Shame about the clipping on 4&5. No6 would have to be my choice.

I quite agree regarding the stray hairs, but she was bouncing around all over so gave up with that and tried to get some nice shots of her.

I'm not keen on the selectively coloured ones, but I don't like the technique anyway, unless there's a very good reason.

No 4 is by far the best for me - a nice natural shot of a pretty girl and a lovely wistful expression to boot - needing no gimmicks to make it work.
