Visited Rathlin island of the coast of Northern Ireland.

The far end of the island has huge sea cliffs and pillars which contain large populations of sea birds. The RSPB has a viewing platform at the cliff top.

Everyone goes to see the puffins, but they nest at bottom of a vertical cliff about 150ft high! So difficult to get any good shots without serious glass!

Most of these are significant crops and were shot with my 1d3 along with 300/4L with a 1.4x and 2x stacked (1.4x first so lens reports f5.6) and AF seems spot on.

Going to get back over in a week or 2 and explore a bit more.

Feel free to correct any ID's i have got wrong :)

Nice capture of the gull - last is a Ringed Plover. For me the first 4 the subjects are too small in the frame - would suggest looking at re-cropping.
