Just got back from a relaxing week on the beach and having done a quick scan of the pictures I managed to take in between lounging around drinking cocktails  I would love some C&C on the shots below, I have to say this is the first time I have really done this type of 'beach' photography so anything said will be taken with appreciation even if you say they are a bit pants (as long as you tell me why?!)

Some really nice shots there - sounds like you had a great time!!
I really like the lighting and colours in #2 and the sunset in #3 :)

Nice set of shots, lovely colours, (y) the horizons need straightening however #1 #2 and #4

#3 would like to have seen the trunk from the R corner

Once I can remember how to straighten in Photoshop I will sort that out :bang:

Absolutely stunning shots, looks like a really beautiful place.

Much better! How was this lit? :)

It was pretty much straight as shot, Exif was: 8s @ f11 iso 200, the only change was that I shot in RAW and changed WB from 'as shot' to Auto and that was it  I'm not really much cop at Photoshopping my pics so you see what I shot really!

I would say there was a light in the bushes on the left shining onto the tree by the look of the shadow on the beach.

Aha memory has come back to me now, there was the restaraunt and bar behind me and to the rear of the tree so it would have been the lights from there that cast the shadows (y)

Lovely shots.
Like 2 best.
Possibly little crop off bottom, leaving chairs and fraction off left.
Last is also nice, pity you didn't step a little more to left and shoot slightly lower. Then you'd have got the setting sun, more palm tree and lost the bit of chair on right.
Easy to say in hindsight.
