Nice pics! Not sure which one I like the most... Number 3 I think :)

Number 2 for me but all are well done.
Im still really surprised at all 3 shots though as I was always told that it rained all the time in Wales ;)

Number 2 for me although I'm not sure about the footprints in the sand - is that you walking back and forth looking for pieces of driftwood?

I'd also like to know about filters and which settings you used for these pics...

Three good images, my guess is you used a filter to gain the shutter speed required to get the sun to twinkle?
What were your settings?

Stunning! Please respond on the filters front as i am interested as well!!

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Kev....it doesn't 'always' rain here mate.:nono::LOL:

As for settings and filters. No filters used, all 3 are a bracket of 9 with 1EV step through the bracket.

To get a sun star (twinkle) you need to close the aperture as far as it will go, those are at f22, try and get the shot so the sun is peeping around something as it's much more effective. The sun-stars are a result of diffraction as the light passes the aperture blades . How many points you get depends on how many blades you have in your aperture.

Rich, the footprints were already there, and yes they put my teeth on edge a bit too. :)
