And why wouldn't you, but then I'm biased.
For a town with such a bad press, we do have a very nice stretch of coastline.

I think I prefer the second shot as I like the diagonal that the first pipe forms.

It looks like the camera may have moved slightly during the exposure of the first one, but a great composition non the less.

The second one, I'd like to see the pipework below the peer, though I don;t know if that's possible..?

The 'briefly' was all too brief but I had an impatient family in the car waiting for me already whinging about the long drive home 'down south'! I'd really like to have had time to try out a few different compositions and exposures.

The tripod may well have shifted a bit in the first image. Unfortunately it was on pretty saturated sand.
