Have these had any pp ? They are really good the 1DS3 is working well with that 85mm lens

they have been processed, pretty much just tweaked the exposure level in lightroom, as i shoot in manual mode so there are dark and bright spots depending where on the court they are, and applied a tone curve across them all :) Some of these were with the 70-200 F2.8 too, 15 and 18 are 70-200 @ F2.8 ISO3200.

I really am tempted to get a 5Dmk3 for sports, but would need to have a long demo of one really. I can't stretch to a 1DX at the moment :(

I'm in the same position Tom, I have a couple of mkiv's but want to sell one and get either the mk3 or the 1dx...the 1dx would be nice but I'm not sure if it is necessary for what I shoot.

im guessing you mean 1Dmk4 and want to get a 1DSmk3? slightly confusing post :D

Hi Tom...sorry about the confusing post...I have tWo 1DMK4's and I'm looking to sell one and buy a 5DMK3 or the 1DX...I had the 1DS3 but i needed faster frame rate, hence the mk4's.

Nice work Tom.

Just a late addition to thread....

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Can't wait til this Friday to do it again. Found the 3 biggest challenges were:

Trying to find a background that were as distraction-free as poss.
The zip of pace and fast exchanges of position meant it was a challenge to know what was going on
Staying comfortable enough to shoot without having to adjust

All good fun though. Going to try and do a bit of research of how top-level wire contributors do their thing in the meantime.

Cheers Tony. Saw the MEN shot –*well played.

There tomorrow?

Not unless the MEN ask me to go.. have alerted them to my availability so they will either use what they have for the next few games (cheaper to reuse pics for a few weeks) or ? ..... Am waiitng to hear from them.. The trouble wiht papers is that they only hand out weekend jobs on Thur/Fri

One of the countries top basketball photographers (and TP member) is going so I will look forward to seeing his work :)
