Something Simple.

Just wondering thoughts on this, unedited shot I took on Monday.
I used one flashhead with a big softbox and no other reflectors.

I like the simplicity of it..

Looks quite pleasing, maybe a little too hot on forehead and could do with a crop to remove some of the background imo, but yes, simplicity sums it up well

I too like the simplicity of it!
The crop imo doesnt look quite right - needs to at least include to the bottom of the neck? Or take out the shoulders completely.
Good shot though!

nice! yes, simple is often the best!
i have to agree, the crop isn't really working (for me).... I'd either cut the top of her head off, so's it's quite a panoramic shot and focus is on her eyes/face, or ...... hmmm

It's sharp, lit well (though a little hot on the forhead) and she's beautiful - which always helps.

It seems to lack any emotion as a portrait though technically good.

Thanks for the comments.. as a said this is unedited and uncropped.. I will process and display finished product..
As to where I get my girls from.. She is a friend and only 15..
