Yes
I often find i leave my dslr at home because of the size so want something i can carry everywhere, just for general pics, anything important the dslr comes. Not worried about budget but dont want to go mad. Most important is image quality and something good in low light but not small compacts like the RX100 i find them too small and fiddly. Haven't really looked at the csc market for time so the only thing ive seen is the OMD EM5 which looks good but was wondering if there's anything else

EOS M - as you already have a canon and you can get an adaptor to mount all your lenses and retain ETTL

X100s, X20, X-E1 ( and the above ) though as said with already having a canon the canon M is a good option to use your current lenses.
saying that if you dont want to be carrying a bunch around the X!00s would be the one for me.

Eos m? Isnt that slow with eos lenses, also, dont large dslr lenses defeat the point of having a compact system?

Apparently any others? Had the xe1 but didn't get on with it, can be an older model not the latest

Lovely build everything apart from the focus all too often I missed shots as it wouldn't focus when it did it was great but not often enough

Its a difficult one, it took me long enough to know the 60d suited my needs after trying nikon etc etc (this is the third one) i plan on a 6d later on, just need something smaller:help:

Think I might get one as it's what I'm used to but wouldn't get sell the 60d , don't care what they bring out you can't beat the ergonomics and feel of a dslr

course if you want something truly pocketable a decent compact is also an option - ive got a Panasonic TZ35 for those days when I really CBA to carry the big camera

mmmmm thought about that to, did look at the sx700 but its the iq or maybe i just worry about iq too much

the nex's without a evf are a little smaller, they also named new ones with a different scheme :| nex 3,5

i think ricoh make a really good compact too, G? it has matched sensor + lens so very good

One thing to decide is if you need a VF or are happy to shoot with the back screen only. Personally I prefer a VF and I can't really live with just the back screen.

good point, i would prefer a vf i don't think anyone's produced a sun proof lcd yet so that's the M out the race lol, so any suggestions with a vf?

Canon 100D is pretty tiny, especially with the 40mm pancake.

Has anyone got the RX10? Seems like a good walk around option providing its not like most bridge type cameras

Decided on the eos m as I can get the adapter and use my other lens and the fact Argos have just reduced the price £100 it's now £199. A steal

Ive got an XE2 coming today its mainly going to be used for family days out etc. It was the IQ and the styling that swung it for me :)
