sony 50mm f1.4 upgrade

been checking jessops for a sony 50mm f1.4 and it seemed to have dissapeared so ive just got the new catalogue and guess what? not in there!:bang:

then ive just wondered, maybe there is going to be a new version with SAM. they already have an f1.8 so there must be an upgrade to the f1.4. what do you think?

you checked elsewhere on net? Jessops dont do much sony stuff now really...
i got mines from there last year, last one off the shelf, and its great!

nah i dont do internet shopping, im happy with my minolta 50mm f1.7 now and when i got to focus on imaging next year i'll probably hunt for one.

Sony are supposed to be 1 of their main suppliers & they list every current Alpha bar the A550 (which seems an odd decision as imho the A550 will be a better seller than the A500 that they do list).

thats what i thought, they have been selling the 50mm f1.4 since it came out i dont know why they have stopped it now, them seem to sell every other sony lens.
