Hi, I am considering getting this lens and just wondered if any of the Sony users on here have one and could give me their opinion of it. I want it as a walk around option for holidays etc. I have a Minolta 50 f1.7 but feel it isn't wide enough. I have to say as a newbie after using the kit lens and moving to the 50mm prime I was amazed at the difference in quality of pictures. Will the Sony 35 mm be as sharp? Another option would be the Minolta 28mm which are much cheaper ! All opinions welcomed Thanks in advance

it's supposed to be a copy of nikon's 35mm f1.8. has it hit the stores yet ?
when it does - it sure will be a lovely lens.
bit cheeky - I have a sony 28mm f2.8 in the classifieds here
I'm very sad that there aren't a lot of options if you want a 24mm, 28mm, 35mm prime only super expensive, super rare.
28mm on a a200 it's very cool. gives you about 42mm feel. I liked using it in streets.
