Sony a37 and a57 exposure preview

I was wondering whether anyone knows whether it is possible to turn the exposure preview off on these cameras.

This wasn't possible on the previous versions of these cameras (a33, a35, a55).

On the a65 and a77 and some nex cameras it is possible, through a cryptically named menu option 'Live View: Setting effect off'

I'm thinking of getting one but as I want to use flash a lot, without this option the camera would be useless..

I just can't seem to find this information anywhere.....

He he....I wouldn't count on it. Sony's product differentiation decisions often seem a bit baffling. ;-)
 
groan.... I suppose the only way to know is to go and hae a look at one eh??
 
Yeah, that's what my second idea was (after looking through forums)...can't find a manual for it anywhere!

Lol! I didn't notice it was Romanian. Still, now all you need to find is someone who can read it. :-D
 
Strangely, and thankfully, the other languages are now at the link you gave and the setting to disable the exposure preview is documented.. Hoorah...
