Sony A5000 + 16-50 lens.

I have just bought a Sony A5000 with a 16-50 lens, for taking with me on walks. I already own a Cokin P series set of filters and holder. Can I get a 40.5mm adapter for this, or will I have to purchase something else (Cokin A series kit for example)?

I have, but was still confused as to how i can do it. I can't find a 40.5mm adpater for the P series holder on WEX or SRB, but I can get one on ebay which leads me to believe it's a bit suspect.
