Sony A55 lens choice

Hi all
Decided to get myself a Sony A55 after messing about with Bridge/superzooms for a few years. The A55 is a stunning camera and a great upgrade for me, at the momment I have the kit 18-55 lens and I was thinking of getting the Tamron 55-200mm to complement this . Any thoughts on this lens, pic's or alternatives that you might think of that would still give good image quality and a desent zoom with out breaking the bank.
I think reading too many reviews has fried my brain 18-250mm,18-200mm ,70-300mm

i tried the sony 75-300 then managed to get a new sony 70-300 G lens and have not looked back, its a really good piece of glass well suited to the sensor in the A55. see what the sales bring.

Tamron 55-200 is a good lens, and pretty much the same as the Sony SAL 55-200 I think. The SAM 55-200 is another option, but has a built in focus motor.

Personally I've not tried any of the "all in one" zooms, but the Sony 18-250 is well regarded. Another option would be a "Beercan" - heavy compared to the above, and prone to some CA, but F4 all the way and built like a tank!

How about this sigma lens 50-200mm it does mension in the review about the very quiet focus motor that will be useful when videoing which I do like.
