just come across this video from sony, it looks awesome! I would assume it is going to have excellent capabilities in stills at high isos as well. Never really wanted to add a sony camera to my kit bag, until now!

I've been looking and reading about this camera for a few days.
Like you I've never wanted a Sony, but I'd happily trade my 5DMKIII for one now, especially as there is a Canon to Sony mount adaptor available.
Should add I was already thinking of down sizing, the A7s just came along at the right moment.

Want one ... but early price rumours place it even dearer than the A7R, which isn't nice.

Very true, the initial price shocked me actually, its hard to tell if they are pitching it against the Panasonic gh4 video wise, though the sony doesn't record 4k straight to an sd card,
